Welcome to the Lakes Management Advisory Committee Website

The Lakes Management Advisory Committee (LMAC) advises the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services in carrying out the purposes of the Lakes Management and Protection Program (RSA 483-A). The LMAC is made up of 19 members representing a wide variety of lake-related interests, including representatives from state agencies, municipalities, the conservation community, fishing community, academia, and the marine, tourism, fishing and real estate businesses. RSA 483-A:6 outlines the responsibilities and membership terms.

The Lakes Management and Protection Program (LMPP) is administered by the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, pursuant to RSA 483-A.
